When I made a statement four years ago, "Kohitsuji no Mure aims for the church of
the Revelation," I did not mean that we would try to achieve a certain goal. We are not at all interested
in any visible achievement as the church, and do not care at all about a popular movement such as
church growth. I said it because I was thoroughly convinced that we were entering the Revelation era,
and I thought that the body of Christ would realize the heavenly model of church here on the earth. I
knew the time has come.
I said that the church in the Revelation era would no longer depend on a minister nor
spiritual gifts. It would not be based on church dogmas or ecclesiastical traditions, because the Lord
Himself would manifest His presence in the midst of His people. Charismatic gifts would be abundant
in the body of Christ, but they would not be centered. The center of the worship is purely the Lord
Jesus Christ, who dwells and manifests Himself in praise of His people.
The Revelation church believes that everything is completed in praise, because the
time of pure worship has come now. We worship the Lamb of God in spirit and truth. Praise is the
very purpose for which God has created the whole creation, and now the whole creation is anxious to
praise the Lord with all hearts and might. Nothing else would satisfy Him. The people of all the nations,
young and old, will be gathered just to praise and worship the One who sits on the throne and the
Lamb. Everything is arranged and perfected in this mighty act of divine praise.
It does not mean that we have already obtained or realized the church of the
Revelation.
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect; but I press on to
make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. (Philippians 3:12)
The vision of the Revelation has taken hold of us. Therefore, we press on to make it
our own. When the Revelation praises began to be poured upon us in January 2000 followed by the
flood of the heavenly praises, we saw that the time of the Revelation had come on the earth. The
church described in the book of the Revelation revealed itself on the earth.
It is for the healing of the earth that the Revelation praises are being poured upon
us. When we resonate on the earth with the mysterious tunes of the Revelation praises and the
beautiful and profound sounds of the heavenly praises, the deep healing is brought to the earth. When
we sing such praises, the river of life in heaven floods down to the earth. Therefore, the Revelation
praises and the heavenly praises bring about the healing of the earth.
Then he showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from
the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city;
also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit,
yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of
the nations. (Revelation 22:1-2)
Along the river of the water of life stands the tree of life. The leaves of the tree have
powerful effects for the healing of all the nations on the earth. They have the power to heal not only
people's sickness but also the earth.
The Revelation proclaims the beginning of a new heaven and a new earth. New
Jerusalem comes down from heaven, adorned beautifully as a bride. It is when the heaven and the
earth ultimately become one.
We are being showered with the flood of the heavenly praises as the first born of a
new world. We were chosen and called as the forerunners when heaven and earth are merged into one.
When we respond on the earth to the heavenly praises and resonate with them, God
restores the wounded earth.
Yet, the condition of the earth is becoming disastrous every moment. The global
warming is accelerating at a fearful speed, and we have already witnessed the unbearable changes in
the climate. It is only the beginning. The glaciers in the Arctic and the Antarctic are starting to melt, and
most parts of the major cities will sink in the ocean. The majority of the earth will become the
subtropical zones, and epidemics and strange diseases will be prevalent.
The world of the Revelation is opening up. On the surface, the nations fiercely fight,
and warfare and chaos will proceed to extremes.
As the Bible says, "it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my
stomach was made bitter (Revelation 10:10)," the heavenly praises bring about something "sweet" to
our spirits but "bitter" to our lives.
No matter how bitter, however, God's plan progresses steadily. His plan is not to
destroy the earth. He does not come in anger for the total destruction of the earth in disorder.
Sufferings will further continue on the earth. Confusions will call for more confusions.
However, everything is for God's divine project to be completed. The stream of life certainly flows into
one direction. It surges toward the One who says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega." The speed of the
flow is being accelerated with the heavenly praises given to Kohitsuji no Mure. As we sing the
heavenly praises, we are coming closer to Christ, the Omega point. This is also the preparation for a
new world to be built.
The praises are the forerunner of heaven on the earth. Now we are definitely
experiencing "the powers of the age to come (Hebrew 6:5)."
Realizing it, I praise still more. To the sky and to the ocean I praise, "Come, Lord
Jesus!" To the wind and to the flow of water, I sing, "May praise fill the earth!"
When one person sings praises in tune with the flow from heaven, the river of life
streams down to the earth. When two people praise in one accord, the earth responds to heaven in the
resounding tune, and the Lord pours His mercy and healing down on the earth. We are called to praise
for the earth to be healed and for the world to be saved.
When the heavenly praises echo, God's divine project advances one step forward. No
one can stop it any longer. While the earth is in disarray and people are groaning in sorrow and
wandering in emptiness, we as the forerunners of the new world help bring about the divine healing to
the earth.
The new time of God has come. The planet earth will shed disorder, confusion, illness
and sorrow, and welcome the Lord in jubilation like a bride welcoming her bridegroom. The people of
praise is the very bride of the Lord.
